Liam's Baptism

Im a little behind on this one, but 2 weeks ago Liam was baptized. It was just family and we kept it small and simple. A long time ago we decided to raise Liam Christian, but we also think it is very important to expose him to all the Jewish traditions of Josh's family as well. So, while this baptism was important and special, it is by no means symbolizing that we will not acknowledge any Jewish traditions. We thought a lot about how we wanted to handle the differences in our religions and we are excited about where we landed. So while Liam will be raised believing in the Christian faith, he will still get to experience all the traditions and holidays of Judiasm through Josh's side of the family. Since meeting Josh, I have joined him in many of these holidays and the family togetherness of these events is something I have no doubt I want Liam to be a part of. And lets be honest, the fact that Liam will celebrate Christmas AND get to experience Hanukkah is not too shabby :)
